Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Hyperseek collects, why, and what you can do about it. Hyperseek is a free beta, and this policy may change as the product grows. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@hyperseek.co.
What we collect
- Account information. The email address you sign in with.
- Content you upload. Your audio files, cover art, song titles, artist names, release dates, and any links you add (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube).
- Submissions. Which playlists you submit to, and the verdicts and scores our models return.
- Basic usage data. Standard logs and diagnostics needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run the service: host your songs, let you play them back, and manage your submissions.
- To evaluate your track. Our curation models analyze the audio and return a fit score, a verdict, and feedback.
- To notify you. We send email when a verdict is ready and other messages related to your account.
- To place accepted tracks on Hyperseek playlists and any connected Spotify or SoundCloud playlists.
- To keep the service safe, debug issues, and improve how it works.
How your audio is analyzed
To evaluate a submission, your audio and its metadata are processed by third-party AI services (currently Google's Gemini API) that listen to the track and generate an analysis. We do not sell your music, and we do not use it to train third-party public models beyond what is needed to return your verdict.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate:
- Supabase for our database, file storage, and authentication.
- Vercel for hosting the website.
- Google for AI audio analysis.
- Resend for sending email.
- Spotify and SoundCloud when a track is placed on a connected playlist.
Retention
We keep your account, songs, and submissions for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and content at any time.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your songs from your dashboard. To access, export, or permanently delete your account and associated data, email hello@hyperseek.co and we will handle it.
Security
We use reputable providers and standard safeguards to protect your data. No online service can be perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Hyperseek is not intended for anyone under 13, and you must be old enough to agree to our Terms.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
